As a modern software company, we are making our contribution to the success of the energy transition by driving forward the digitalization of energy grid planning.

retoflow was founded in August 2021 with the aim of making innovative algorithms and methods from research usable for grid operators.

With the retoflow software, we make innovative algorithms and methods usable for all grid operators, from large area distribution grid operators to small municipal utilities.

In this way, we support grid operators of all sizes in the digitalization and automation of their grid planning and operation processes.

We have received several awards for our innovative product and business model.

We are particularly proud of winning the dena Data4Grid Challenge on AI in the distribution grid together with the Fraunhofer IEE, the Hessischen Staatspreis für Energie second place in the Science 4 Life Energy Cup and the promotion Nordhessen start-up competition.
